Tibetan Sound Healing, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, (9781604070958) Other Format

One of the world's oldest unbroken spiritual traditions is the Bön Buddhist tradition of Tibet. This wisdom path has survived thanks to the efforts of a handful of dedicated lamas, such as Bön lineage holder Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. Now, with Tibetan Sound Healing, we can connect to the ancient sacred sounds of the Bön practice--and through them, activate our healing potential.

The Bön healing tradition invokes the Five Warrior Syllables--"seed" sounds that bring us to the essential nature of mind, and release the boundless creativity and positive qualities that are fundamental to it. Through the medicine of sound, we can clear obstacles from our body, our energy and emotions, and the subtle sacred dimensions of our being. In this integrated book-and-CD learning program, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche gives us the tools to access wisdom and compassion, and use the vibration of sacred sound to purify our body, connect with our inherent perfection and completeness, and awaken spiritual virtue.

Includes Guided CD

Bön spiritual master Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche guides you in the use of each of the Five Warrior Syllables, then teaches key practices to harness the medicine of these sacred sounds for purification, vitality, and awakening your natural mind.

Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is the founder and resident teacher of Ligmincha Institute in Virginia, and was one of the first lamas to bring the Bön Dzogchen teachings to the West. He lived and studied with Tibetan masters of Bön Buddhism from the age of thirteen until completing an eleven-year course of traditional studies at the Bönpo Monastic Center, Dolanji, Himachal Pradesh, India. Rinpoche is the author of several books, including Healing with Form, Energy, and Light: The Five Elements in Tibetan Shamanism, Tantra, and Dzogchen and Awakening the Sacred Body.

    Radical Self-Forgiveness, Colin C. Tipping, (9781604070903) Paperback
Most of us have plenty of experience with self-blame and guilt-but we are often at a loss when it comes to forgiving ourselves. According to Colin Tipping, this is because our idea of forgiveness usually requires a victim and a perpetrator-which is impossible when we play both roles at the same time. Tipping's Radical Forgiveness method allows us to navigate this dilemma for deep and lasting healing. With Radical Self-Forgiveness, he presents a definitive manual for gaining freedom from excessive inner criticism and self-sabotaging beliefs. What's "radical" about Colin Tipping's approach to forgiveness? "It's not about telling ourselves a new story about something that happened," he says. "It's about creating a profound shift at the spiritual level." Based on proven techniques from Tipping's world-renowned forgiveness workshops, here is a practical guidebook for resolving our deepest internal wounds-and inviting transformation that can instantly change our lives.

The Book of Enoch the Prophet, Richard Laurence, (9780932813855) Paperback
This is a reprint of the Apocryphal Book of Enoch: The Prophet which was first discovered in Abyssinia in the year 1773 by a Scottish explorer named James Bruce. Bruce, a sort of 18th century Indiana Jones, may have seen the Ark of Covenant at Axum, and was able to obtain the ancient Coptic Christian text, approximately 2000 years old. In 1821 The Book of Enoch was translated by Richard Laurence and published in a number of successive editions, culminating in the 1883 edition. Like the Dead Sea Scrolls, or the Nag Hammadi Library, the Book of Enoch, translated from the original Ethiopian Coptic script, is a rare book that was suppressed by the early church and thought destroyed. Today it is back in print in this expanded, deluxe edition, using the original 1883 revised text.
